| Automotive X-Prize Winner Edison 2: Designed In Solid Edge |
The main keynote of Solid Edge University 2013 will be delivered by Dan Staples, Director-Solid Edge Development, as he presents the release of the new and improved Solid Edge ST6. Dan was one of the overly helpful Siemens team who spent time walking me through the uses and intricacies of Solid Edge. In April a review of ST5 was posted noting that there were still some challenges to overcome with surfacing and freeform design. At the time the team noted that there were new updates for surfacing coming in ST6 so it will be exciting to see what they have to announce.
