With the recent news coverage surrounding the 3D printing industry, Mediabistro’s Inside 3D Printing Conference and Expo, taking place at the Javits Center on April 2-4, is set to be an unmissable event, featuring new product demonstrations, exhibitions, panel sessions, and keynotes. I personally attended last year’s event and had a wonderful time while being exposed to a fantastic array of upcoming and new uses for this segment of technology.
The conference and expo, which is expected to attract over 30,000 attendees, will delve into the B2B implications of 3D printing and the industries it will affect, including manufacturing, prototyping, medical devices, and design. In addition to informative sessions including a keynote by Carl Bass, President and CEO of Autodesk, there will be a special section of the exhibit floor dedicated to the 3D maker community.
At the Maker Summit and Pavilion, DIY enthusiasts will be able to exhibit unique products and learn more about the various design aspects of 3D printing, including new developments and the future of desktop 3D printing. Conference workshops will take place on April 2, with sessions and exhibits taking place April 3-4. View the full agenda here.
The event, which has quickly become the leading conference of its kind, has attracted the attention of industry leaders 3D Systems and Stratasys, as well as Amazon, who are both sponsoring the New York event.
Mediabistro has scheduled dates for the show both in the US and internationally, including an event in Berlin on March 10-11 and one in Sao Paulo on April 16-17. Click here for the full world tour schedule.
